Welcome to Our Hub

We are based at The King Edward VI School, a high achieving school, with a reputation for academic excellence for all. We provide for over 1400 students from years 9-13 and have a thriving Sixth Form of around 450 students.

We pride ourselves on being a fully inclusive and truly comprehensive school built on traditional principles and high standards. The King Edward VI School is part of the Cheviot Learning Trust, established in 2011 with a mission to be an exciting, outward-looking learning community.

Our Vision

Our core purpose as the Three Rivers Teaching School Hub is to deliver and signpost professional development and evidence informed practice to to achieve excellent education provision and lifelong opportunities for all our children in the region. Alongside providing appropriate body services, we focus in particular on the Department for Education’s (DfE) ‘golden thread’ of ITT, the ITT Early Career Teacher and ITTECF Framework and National Professional Qualifications. Through collaboration and a drive for excellence, we are committed to supporting the recruitment, development and retention of the very best teachers.
